Northampton Council Pays £132,000 for property it sold for peanuts

The shambles of Right to buy

One property shows how Northampton Borough Council operates

They flog off the property to the tenant on the cheap at a discount (i.e. via Right to Buy)

The property in question has a large garden so the buyer builds a new home on half the garden, then in 2016 the property (got on the cheap) is sold back to NBC for £132,000 minus half the garden.

My current understanding is that the property as been purchased by NBC and NPH with intention to knock it down

Be very interested to know how the great and good square that as value for money
