Norman Adams a member of Northampton DCH and a council tenant’ said it is a concern to him that conflicting views have been stated, AND he will be asking that some clarity is giving, he as requested that both (Mr Kay & Cllr Stone) be invited to attend the next tenants’ meeting to take questions on the issue, Mr Adams said “tenants will draw their own conclusions from failings to agree or attend”

Mike Kay (Chief Executive NPH) told a tenants’ panel meeting, that the Leader of the Labour Group and local councillor for the area Cllr Stone was enthusiastic about the plan and in his words ‘congratulated NPH ‘ on the plan.

Cllr Danielle Stone said:
“ Everyone on this estate, the Residents Association, the Neighbourhood Forum and the Councillors all agree that we must have a shop on this part of the estate. It is a life line for many people who cannot get into town. It is a Community hub and we need it. All the locals are very angry that they have not been consulted about it. I know they would like the opportunity to have their say.”
