In April 2016 we end the financial year 2015-16 and start 2016-17

Bearing in mind that certain Right to Buy receipts come with conditions and time lines (used it locally within 3 years or loss it)

56 properties were sold 2012-13 must be time for Northampton Borough Council to account for the use made of the receipts?

 

 

UPDATED by Northampton DCH:

Regarding the Council’s spending of 1-4-1 receipts between April 2012 and November 2015.

The Council spent £1,382,840 on the purchase of 14 dwellings, i.e. additions to the social housing stock. 30% of these purchase costs was funded from the retained 1-4-1 receipts, i.e. £414,852.
