  1. That sounds about right. I rent a 1 bed sh. Hole in a tower from ASRA. Well over £5000 a year. I have on occasion taken tribunals out to argue it’s market rent or above but they lump social housing in with private rented comparitors so you are set to loose.

    I did manage to point out they were charging me twice for my water usage which was outside of my tennancy. I got a nice refund but how many tennants go over their paperwork with a fine tooth comb? Hmm. I might ask for interest.
