When is a council tenant NOT a council tenant

When is a council tenant NOT a council tenant

Seems that tenants will be at the heart of things involves a caveat …..

When is a council tenant NOT a council tenant

Northampton Borough Council Chief Executive David Kennedy it seems as issued a dictate that Councillor’s who are also tenants MUST be excluded from taking part in the Tenants Panel with relation to the current Stock Options Appraisal of Northampton Council Housing stock

For the record Northampton Borough Council as 3 councillors that are effected by this dictate, interestingly one from each of the major parties .

TO be candid if the records of Council meetings were more accurate then my view that the 3 councillors in question contains dickheads and sell outs of Sheltered housing would be more widely known.

BUT on this issue a Tenant is a Tenant full stop……

Let them come to meetings and have input …. Tenants are quite capable of extracting the wheat from the crap….

Long overdure when Council Chief Executives and those answerable to them were made publicly accountable….the public would soon put them in their place!

We all have rubbish picked up from outside our houses, so were Cllrs stopped from making comments on the enterprise contract?

When a council bans someone from wearing a “Beat the Bullies” t-shirt, what does that say?
